Seton Hill’s Tom Deangelis picked up WVIAC Player of the Week honors while Fairmont State’s Tyler Kincaid garnered the league’s Pitcher of the Week award.
Deangelis went four-for-five in the Griffins sweep of Indiana (PA). The senior third baseman posted two round-trippers while also notching a double. He had six RBI and scored three times.
Kincaid earned his first win of the season with an 11-0 victory over Pitt-Johnstown. The sophomore left-handed hurler tossed a complete game in the win. He allowed just five hits, four of which were ifield singles. Kincaid struck out eight while walking just two. He allowed just one UPJ runner to reach third base.
