Gibbs Declares for NBA Draft

The Pitt Panthers’ leading scorer has decided to leave the Big East Conference and take his skills to the NBA. Junior guard Ashton Gibbs led the Panthers’ men’s basketball team with 16.8 points per game this season.

Gibbs played in one game against the Mountaineers this season and was held to only nine points. He missed the first game against the Mountaineers this season due to an injury. The 6-foot-2 guard hasn’t hired an agent yet and he is the first Pitt underclassmen to declare for this year’s NBA Draft.
