Brendan Costantino And Justin Byrd Garner Weekly Accolades

Seton Hill’s Brendan Costantino has been named the WVIAC Player of the Week while Shepherd’s Justin Byrd has been tabbed the Pitcher of the Week, as announced by the league office.

Costantino guided SHU to an undefeated week as the team is now 20-0 in regional action on the year. Costantino went 8-for-11 on the week (.727). He produced four RBI while scoring six times. Costantino had a double and a triple as well. On the base paths, he went 3-3.

Byrd saw action in two games on the week, picking up one win. Against Charleston, he worked an inning. Against West Liberty, Byrd worked eight innings, fanning eight batters while scattering five hits and one earned run.
