Pat White to Canada?

Former Mountaineer Pat White might finally have a chance to pursue a football career after all.

Sportsnet.ca has just reported that the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League have an interest in White, who is currently listed as a free-agent quarterback.

Toronto and White have reportedly been working through negotiations for the past week after the Winnipeg Blue Bombers dropped negotiations with the former Mountaineer.

White was drafted in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins and was cut this past summer before the start of the 2010 season. White then tried his luck at baseball with a Kansas City affiliate, but left the team at the beginning of the year.

White has been seen around WVU’s spring drills the past two weeks.

Be sure to stay tuned for more information regarding White’s possible future in Toronto.
