A total of 485 student-athletes have earned the Conference USA Commissioner’s Academic Medal during the 2010-11 academic year, Commissioner Britton Banowsky announced today. Medals are given to those C-USA student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better.
Marshall earned 37 academic medals while Tulsa had the most winners with 57, followed closely by Memphis with 56 and East Carolina with 47. The number of medalists honored increased by more than seven percent from a year ago. A full list of Marshall student-athletes to earn the honor is below:
