Track and Field Closes out Penn Relays

The Marshall University women’s track and field squad concluded its showing at the Penn Relays on Friday afternoon as Jasia Richardson took home a tenth-place finish in the triple jump.

Richardson recorded a mark of 11.96m (39-3 feet) for a tenth-place ranking in the triple jump on Friday afternoon, less than three feet shorter than event winner Antionette Oglesby of Fort Valley.

On Thursday, Marshall earned its second top-10 finish of the weekend after Vanessa Jules placed sixth in the high jump by clearing 1.68 m (5-6 feet).

Next up for Herd track and field is the Conference USA Outdoor Championships which begins on May 12, as hosted by the University of Houston.
