Thomas, Neild, Hogan and Sands Drafted

Former West Virginia cornerback Brandon Hogan and former safety Robert Sands were the first former Mountaineers selected in the 2011 NFL Draft.

Later, linebacker J.T. Thomas was selected in the sixth round (No. 195 overall) by the Chicago Bears and defensive tackle Chris Neild in the seventh round (No. 253) by the Washington Redskins.

Hogan was selected by the Carolina Panthers with the first pick of the fourth round (No. 98 overall).

Sands was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals with the third pick in the fifth round (No. 134 overall).
