Cheatham Heading To JC

The Thundering Herd will be down one recruit this upcoming season. The Baltimore Sun is reporting Baltimore City College High School point guard Mike Cheatham is going to attend Palm Beach (Fla.) State College for the next two seasons.

Cheatham committed to the Herd back at the beginning of March. The 6-foot-2 guard’s assistant coach told The Baltimore Sun that Cheatham wants to honor his commitment to Marshall, but says a lot can happen in the future.

The reason for Cheatham’s decision is not mentioned in the report.
