Burnside To Resign

Randy Burnside has been with the Marshall Sports Information Department since 1997 and his last day at MU will be this Thursday. Burnside completed his undergraduate and graduate degree at Marshall University and is resigning to take a job with the public relations department with the West Virginia Lottery.

Burnside has worked his way up from the bottom in the Marshall Sports Information Department and was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Media Relations in 2003. He dealt with media relations for all sports at Marshall, but football was his primary responsibility. He has always been a helpful and friendly person for the media to work with and is well respected in his field. Burnside has decided to resign to spend more time with his family.
