Not So Fast: Pat White Remains Un-Signed

The Virginia Destroyers have confirmed to MetroNews that Pat White is still unsigned, but the option of him signing in the near future is a distinct possibility.

The former Mountaineer is listed on the team’s website roster because the Destroyers have obtained the rights to sign him. Earlier this week, FoxSports.com reported White had signed with the UFL franchise and White said he was excited about the opportunity.

"It’s a chance to show I can do it," said White to FoxSports.com.

Destroyers Media Relations Director David Seals said Virginia is very interested in signing White.

“I’m sure that all sides are trying to work out something, but at the moment he is not a signed player,” said Seals. “We usually get a transactions list out once a day. Our transaction list for today is already out and he is not on the list.”
