After playing 13 seasons in the NFL, 34 year-old Randy Moss has decided to end his professional football career. The move comes as a bit of a surprise, but last season the future Hall of Famer had a roller coaster type season. Moss began in New England and was traded to Minnesota. Shortly after that he was released by the Vikings and was picked up by the Tennessee Titans.
In his career, Moss recorded 954 receptions for 14,858 yards and 153 touchdowns. Moss is originally from Rand and spent two season of his college career at Marshall.
The 6-foot-4 receiver played for four teams in his NFL (Minnesota, Oakland, New England and Tennessee) and was selected in the first round of the 1998 NFL Draft by the Vikings.
Moss is a seven time Pro Bowler and is one of ten players in NFL history to have 950 or more receptions in their career.
