Wide receiver Randy Moss is retiring.
The announcement came Monday afternoon after Moss had reportedly drawn little interest on the free agent market.
"After weighing his options and contemplating offers, he’s decided to retire," Moss’ agent, Joel Segal, told ESPN.
Moss, 34, played 13 seasons, catching 954 passes for 14,858 yards with 153 touchdowns. He spent seven seasons with Minnesota which drafted him 21st overall in 1998. Then two seasons in Oakland before re-igniting his career in New England with quarterback Tom Brady. Last season, the wideout was traded from New England to Minnesota and finished out the season with Tennessee, finishing the season with just 28 catches.
