Alderson-Broaddus Adding Football

Alderson-Broaddus will be playing football in 2012.  The school making the announcement that it’ll be adding overall five sports to its lineup.  The other sports include men’s and women’s lacrosse, women’s tennis and men’s volleyball.

Athletic director Dennis Creehan will serve as the school’s head football coach.  He was recently hired on as the AD back in June — he’s also spent time as the head football coach at West Virginia Wesleyan.  The football team will have an independent schedule for the 2012 season.
