NCAA Suspends Taylor For Coal Bowl

The Thundering Herd will be without defensive end Jeremiah Taylor for Sunday’s Friends of Coal Bowl.

The NCAA has suspended Taylor for one game for a technicality going back to last season. The New York Times is reporting Taylor played the entire 2010 season without certifying that he never received a salary or significant expenses while an ametuer athlete.

Taylor says he never received a notice from the NCAA that they never received the form.
