Shepherd fell from third to 14th in the latest AFCA poll while West Virginia Wesleyan picked up votes for the first time this season.
The Rams dropped a hard fought game at Concord 28-14 to fall to 4-1 overall and 2-1 in WVIAC action last Saturday.
The Bobcats are the league’s lone undefeated team and are currently 5-0, 2-0. WVWC is one of three unbeaten teams in WVIAC play and is coming off a 37-26 win at Lincoln in the team’s last non-conference regular-season game. The Bobcats received four votes for the top 25.
