After starting out 6-0, the West Virginia Wesleyan football program enters the latest AFCA poll at No. 21.
The Bobcats (6-0, 3-0) are coming off a 45-44 overtime victory over then-No. 14 Shepherd and are under the direction of first-year head coach Jonas Jackson.
WV Wesleyan takes on Fairmont State this week at 1 p.m. The Falcons are 4-1 on the year and 2-1 in WVIAC play.
Shepherd fell out of the top 25 but still recorded 16 votes.
North Alabama remains the nation’s top team.
