HS Boys Basketball Power Index Week 3

Another big win for Martinsburg on the week, this time coming over No. 4 Morgantown, kept the Bulldogs at No. 1 in the third week of the MetroNews Power Index.  Hedgesville comes in at No. 2 in the rankings — the one loss for Hedgesville came against Martinsburg.  Undefeated Fairmont Senior is at No. 3 and South Charleston is No. 5.

The highest ranked Class AA team is Bluefield at No. 7 with Tug Valley at No. 8.  Tug Valley, meanwhile, had a big week, knocking off both South Charleston and Logan out of Class AAA.

In Class A, St. Mary’s is now the highest ranked team out of that class, coming in at No. 28.
