Former Mountaineer Devin Ebanks scored 14 points on Thursday night for the Lakers as LA fell in its regular season finale to the Kings, 113-96.
All five Lakers’ starters sat out of the contest to rest up for the playoffs — Ebanks finished tied for second on the team in scoring with those 14 points. He went 7 of 11 from the floor and grabbed five rebounds as well. He finishes the regular season averaging 3.6 points per contest through 23 games.
Overall, the Lakers finished the year with 41-25 record — they’ll be the three seed in the Western Conference playoffs, facing Denver in the opening round.
