Former Mountaineers Najee Goode and Keith Tandy both signed contracts on Monday in the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The deals were both for four years.
The players were two of three former Mountaineers drafted in the recent NFL draft. They took part in their first minicamp with Tampa Bay earlier this month. Goode was drafted in the fifth round while Tandy was taken a round later in the sixth. The Buccaneers also signed former Mountaineers Tyler Urban and Cody Nutter to free agent deals after the draft as well.
Overall, Goode and Tandy became the third and fourth members of Tampa Bay’s 2012 draft class to sign their contracts.
