Hatcher Returns Home After Surgery To Remove Cancerous Tumor

Metronews has learned Logan High School basketball coach Mark Hatcher has returned home after a cancerous tumor was removed from his right kidney. He plans to rest this summer and continue coaching next season if he is cancer free.

Hatcher was diagnosed in early April after complaining about “severe stomach problems and nausea.” The symptoms weren’t related to the cancer, but a scan found the tumor.

Hatcher went to the Cleveland Clinic and had the surgery on May 25.
