No NBA Summer League For KJ

According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, former WVU forward Kevin Jones won’t be playing in the NBA Summer League with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He is nursing a bone bruise in his heel, but will be with the Cavaliers for training camp.

According to Jones’ agent Bill Neff, it will take Jones about three weeks to recover.

Last season, he led the Big East Conference in both points and rebounds averaging 19.9 points and 10.9 rebounds per game.

Jones went undrafted in this year’s NBA Draft. Cleveland signed the former Mountaineer standout to a three-year contract.
