Mountaineers Pick Up Two Commits

On Monday, the Mountaineer football team picked up its 10th and 11th commitment in the 2013 recruiting class in safety Daryl Worley and wide receiver Daikiel Shorts.

Shorts is the first wide receiver to commit to the 2013 class. The 3-star prospect hails from Elkton Christian Academy and is the cousin of former Rutgers receiver Tiquan Underwood. He also had offers from Boise State, Boston College, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, N.C. State and Temple.

Worley is a 6-foot-0 safety from William Penn Charter School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He had offers from Boston College, UConn, Iowa, Northwestern, Penn State, Pitt, Rutgers, Syracuse, Temple, Tennessee and UCF.
