Iowa State (4-1, 1-1; defeated TCU, 37-23; vs. Iowa State Saturday)
Quarterback Jared Barnett, making his first start of the season, tied a career high with three touchdown passes.
Receiver Josh Lenz set career highs for receiving yards (147) and touchdowns (three). He’s the first Iowa State receiver with three touchdown catches since Oct. 29, 2005 when Todd Blythe had four against Texas A&M.
Linebacker Jake Knott had a season-high 13 tackles, his 16th career game with double digit tackles.
Under coach Paul Rhoads, Iowa State has three victories on the road over ranked teams. The Cyclones haven’t trailed in any of the three games.

Junior running back James Sims rushed for 115 yards on 28 carries. It marked his first 100-yard rushing game since gaining 110 yards against Northern Illinois in 2011.

Landry Jones is 32-9 as a starting quarterback and is tied with Steve Davis for the most victories in school history.
Jones is now one of three players in Big 12 history and one of 23 in NCAA history to have 100 touchdown passes and 13,000 passing yards in his career.
Oklahoma is 72-1 all-time under Bob Stoops when scoring 40 or more points.

Quarterback Trevone Boykin and left guard Joey Hunt became the 13th and 14th different Horned Frogs to make their first career starts this season.
Boykin’s 270 yards passing are the most by a TCU freshman since Andy Dalton threw for 298 against San Diego State on Nov. 24, 2007.
Freshman Jaden Oberkrom’s 50-yard third-quarter field goal marked the longest made kick by a Horned Frog since Ross Evans was successful from 50 yards at New Mexico on Aug. 30, 2008.
The loss ended TCU’s winning streak at 12 and its 25-game winning streak in conference games. Both were the longest in FBS. It was just the second home loss in the last 30 games at Amon Carter Stadium.

Sophomore running back Joe Bergeron had a career-high four rushing touchdowns. Freshman running back Johnathan Gray had a career-best 49-yard run and a career-high 87 yards rushing.
Texas blocked two kicks (one punt and one field goal) and now has five on the season. Texas has blocked the second most kicks in the nation (59) since the start of the 2002 season.
Texas had a fumble recovery for a touchdown and has scored 83 non-offensive touchdowns since 1999 which is tied for second most in the FBS with Kansas State. Virginia Tech has scored 84 times over that time span.
