Sixth Storm Death In West Virginia

There have been six deaths recorded in West Virginia in connection with Hurricane Sandy and the record snow it left in the Mountain State.

The latest death was confirmed Thursday by the governor’s office. A 71-year-old Webster County woman was found dead Wednesday in her driveway underneath three feet of snow.

The woman had apparently gone outside to feed her dogs. She was last heard from Monday. Family members found her when clearing the driveway.
