Omnis Fuel Technologies plans to take over the plant and generate energy using a hydrogen by product of Omnis’s graphite production operations.

The full project is $50 million and will employ 40 workers, the governor said.

The DNR hopes waiving license requirements for two days will encourage people to try fishing for the first time or at least try it again if they haven't been in a while. You could also give your kids a first fishing experience as part of the event.

The festival begins this Friday, June 9 and will go through until Sunday, June 18.
