Man arrested in connection with infant’s death

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. —Police in north central West Virginia have made an arrest in connection with the death of an infant.

Taylor, Marion and Harrison county deputies worked together Friday to apprehend Marcus Curtis Lewis, charging him in the death of a baby who died Sunday at United Hospital Center in Clarksburg. The infant had been transported earlier in the day from a home in Boothsville in Taylor County.

Lewis is being held in the North Central Regional Jail without bail.
