‘Buckwild’s’ Amin pleads guilty to drug charge

SUMMERSVILLE, W.Va. — A cast member of the former “Buckwild” reality show has pleaded guilty to a felony drug charge.

Nicholas County Prosecutor P.K. Milam tells MetroNews Salwa Amin, 24, of Charleston, pleaded guilty late Monday to one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to deliver a controlled substance. Amin was originally indicted on two drug charges following a February arrest.

Amin was caught with Shawn Booker, 42, of Detroit and Jason Jones, 31, of Summersville. They were all charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin and oxycodone and conspiracy. Amin has agreed to testify against Booker and Jones.

Prosecutor Milam said she’ll face a 1-5 year prison term when she’s sentenced Jan. 16.

Amin remains in the Central Regional Jail pending sentencing.
