Man shot in Beckley

BECKLEY, W.Va. — A Raleigh County man was wounded and Beckley Police were looking for the person who shot him early Friday morning in Raleigh County.

Investigators said the victim was shot several times at about 2 a.m. on the day after Thanksgiving at the Beckley Woods Housing Authority in Beckwood.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately available.

Anyone with information about the shooting was being asked to contact the Beckley Police Department at 304-256-1720.
