Postgame: Martinsburg’s Dave Walker relishes another title

WHEELING, W.Va. — Martinsburg coach Dave Walker discusses his team’s 9-7 win over No. 1-seeded Huntington in the Class AAA state championship on Saturday.

Not only was it the Bulldogs’ fourth consecutive crown—unprecedented in Class AAA—but Walker’s son Tyler scored the team’s only touchdown of the afternoon.

“That kid has worked so hard,” the coach said. “He’s had to put up with me for years.”
