
WHEELING, W.Va. — Wheeling Park senior linebacker Geremy Paige (5-foot-11, 220 pounds) has been given the Huff Award, which goes to the state’s top defensive player as voted on by the West Virginia Sports Writers Association.
Paige overall recorded 156 total tackles, 12 sacks and recovered a pair of fumbles as well as the Patriots made it into the state semifinals for the first time since 1991.
