ONA, W.Va. — Cabell Midland rising junior defensive end Reese Donahue was named the overall MVP of this past weekend’s Football University camp from Dublin, Ohio.
After the camp, he was invited to the Top Gun camp this week (Thursday, July 17 to Saturday, July 19), which features some of the best college prospects around the country. He will join more than 800 of the nation’s other top athletes at their respective positions and will train with current and former NFL players and coaches.
Football University is created and produced by All American Games, the founders of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
Nicholas County rising senior linebacker/running back Wil Mayes also received an invite to Top Gun earlier this summer.
Donahue, meanwhile, stands in at 6-foot-4, 230 pounds, heading into his junior campaign with the Knights.
