PORTLAND, Ohio — A person was taken into custody Saturday in Meigs County, Ohio after a body was found along the Ohio River.

Police from West Virginia were called to the scene not long after some people on the river discovered the body near Portland, Ohio. Police said it was wrapped in a tarp with a cement block tied around it.

The body was found here along the Ohio River Saturday in Meigs County, Ohio.
