BLACKSVILLE, W.Va. — A driver was killed late Monday night in western Monongalia County after fleeing police in a pursuit that began in Pennsylvania.
The deadly crash took place at just before midnight on state Route 7 near Blacks Run Road.
Monongalia County deputies identified the victim as Dennis Lee Snyder II. He was killed after his car hit an embankment and flipped over.
West Virginia police said officers with the Pennsylvania Southwest Regional Police Department were pursuing Snyder.
