Man named in Silver Alert found dead

BLAIR, W.Va. — State police said a Logan County man named in a Silver Alert Wednesday was found dead in his vehicle Thursday evening.

Investigators said James Butcher, 77, of Pecks Mills, was found in the Blair area near Kelly Hollow Road.

A Silver Alert was issued for Butcher after he went missing Wednesday. He was located by a hunter. No foul play is suspected in his death.
