Parkersburg South’s McCutcheon selected as Ostrowski Award winner

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Parkersburg South junior point guard Taryn McCutcheon is tabbed as the recipient of the Mary Ostrowski Award, selected by the West Virginia Sports Writers Association, which is given to the state’s top girls high school basketball player.

McCutcheon averaged 16.4 points, 6.9 assists and three steals for Parkersburg South on the season, finishing ahead of Morgantown’s Olivia Seggie in the voting.
