3 men found dead at home in Mercer County

MONTCALM, W.Va. — Three men were found dead at a home in Mercer County where deputies are investigating the case as a homicide.

The bodies of Leslie Joe Hicks, 38, Joseph Dean Hicks, 52, and Ernest Davis Hicks, 57, all males and all related, were discovered Friday. Deputies found the bodies after relatives became concerned and notified authorities when none of the men had been seen for several days.

The men had been dead for approximately up to four days, authorities estimated.

Their bodies have been sent to the state Medical Examiner’s office for autopsy.
