The Lunch takes stock of WVU’s successful home finale

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Beneath dreary skies and underpopulated upper decks, Saturday’s 30-6 win over Iowa State won’t rank highly on anyone’s list of remember-when games. Paul Rhoads included.

Even Dana Holgorsen greeted reporters with “Glad that’s over” before tacking on the tell-tale admission that “it was a little blah out there.”

Yet the Gold & Blue Lunch Report always seeks max-enjoyment from its Monday morning film review and typically finds moments that escaped us in real-time. So, here we go, focused and diligent, with a No Game Left Behind attitude.
