BIRCH RIVER, W.Va. — West Virginia State Police are investigating a fatal accident in Nicholas County.
Dr. Rondal Joe Boyce, 46 passed away Thursday from injuries received in the crash when his 2012 Toyota Tacoma rear ended a loaded log truck in the truck lane of Route 19.
Dr. Boyce was pronounced dead on scene. There was no indication of drugs or alcohol involved in the crash.
The investigation remains ongoing.
