Body found along Monongahela river Wednesday afternoon

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — An unidentified man was found dead Wednesday along the Monongahela riverbank.

The Morgantown Police Department arrived at the scene to get a boat on the water and retrieve the man’s body.

A fisherman found the body and called 911 around 3:30 p.m., according to police.
