Gallery: Class AAA Region 4, Section 2 boys basketball semifinals

ONA, W.Va. — A look at the Class AAA Region 4, Section 2 semifinals on Wednesday night where Huntington defeated Cabell Midland 63-41 and Hurricane beat Spring Valley 62-50.

In the win for Huntington (15-6), Mikal Dawson led the Highlanders with 17 points.

For Hurricane (11-11), the Redskins were led by Austin Dearing who scored 19 points, Jordan Nicely who finished with 15 points and Nick Muto who added 14 points in the win.

 

Region 4, Section 2: (1) Huntington, (2) Hurricane, (3) Spring Valley, (4) Cabell Midland

Wednesday: Huntington 63, Cabell Midland 41 — Cabell Midland eliminated

Wednesday: Hurricane 62, Spring Valley 50 — Spring Valley eliminated

Friday: Huntington vs. Hurricane for sectional title
