One dead in Barbour County crash

PHILIPPI, W.Va. — One person is dead following a vehicle accident along W.Va. Route 92 in Barbour County.

The crash occurred just north of Stalnaker Road around 4:20 p.m. Tuesday.

The driver of one vehicle was pronounced dead on scene. The other driver was transported to Broaddus Hospital and is in stable condition.

The Barbour County Sheriff’s Department has not released the identity of those involved.
