HANSFORD, W.Va. — A Kanawha County man is in custody for allegedly stabbing his girlfriend.
John Lewis Paris, 40, of Hansford, was arrested Wednesday after being charged with malicious wounding.
According to the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Department, Paris got into a fight with his girlfriend Tuesday night at a house his shares with his parents. He allegedly hit the woman and stabbed her twice.
Her injuries were not life-threatening, deputies said.
