Raleigh County man jailed on sex charges involving child

BECKLEY, W.Va. — A Raleigh County man faces charges of sexual abuse involving a seven year old girl.

William Joseph Harvey of Bolt, W.Va. was arrested this week on charges of first degree sexual abuse for an incident from December of last year. The victim tells police Harvey would touch her in inappropriate laces and often showed her pictures of other children engaged in inappropriate activity.

He’s lodged in the Southern Regional Jail in lieu of $100,000 bond.
