Public hearing times and locations set for PEIA Task Force

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The PEIA Task Force has mapped out a series of public hearings all over West Virginia.

The public hearings at a total of 21 locations begin Tuesday evening and continue through June 11.

The idea is for members of the Task Force to hear people’s experiences with the insurance program for public employees. The broader mission of the Task Force is to figure out ways to shore up the insurance program’s finances.

Members of the Task Force have said the public hearings will be streamed live or made available later on video. The PEIA Task Force web page is here.
