Cargo “well done” after tractor trailer fire

BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. — Highway crews closed the slow lane of Interstate 64 east near Barboursville Thursday afternoon so the cargo burned in an early morning tractor trailer fire could be unloaded.

The big truck was hauling meat when the trailer erupted in flames near the 15 mile marker. Authorities were able to separate the cab from the trailer before it was damaged.

There were no injuries in connection with the fire.

At least one lane was closed during morning rush hour.
