WHEELING, W.Va. — A man entered a plea agreement in Ohio County Circuit Court on Monday to second-degree murder stemming from a fatal May 2017 shooting.
Jordan Davis took an Alford plea, meaning he did not admit to the death of Ahmid Hinton but recognized there was substantial evidence against him.
Jordan Davis and his brother DeAndre Davis were arrested in October for Hinton’s death. Jordan Davis faces between 10 and 40 years in prison.
DeAndre Davis will go on trial in September. He is facing murder charges.
