Man killed in motorcycle crash

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. — A Wood County man died Friday after his motorcycle crashed on the Williamstown Pike, according to authorities.

James Duncan,55, of Parkersburg, lost control of his bike at just before noon. He slammed into a utility pole.

Authorities said an eyewitness was performing CPR at the site. Duncan was pronounced dead at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
