Police seek person-of-interest in string of FSU car thefts

FAIRMONT, W.Va. — A person-of-interest has been identified in an ongoing string of thefts on the campus of Fairmont State University.

Police are seeking information on Jeremy Allen White, 33, in connection to the theft of a white GMC Sierra pick-up truck. The truck, stolen Aug. 21, has since been recovered.

Additionally, police are looking into a second stolen car, a 1998 Plymouth Breeze with WV registration O3F928. The vehicle was last seen exiting the top level of the parking garage on campus around 10:19 p.m. Aug. 28.

The vehicle has a burnt-out registration light as -well-as a white Fairmont State University parking sticker in the rear window.
