FAIRMONT, W.Va. — A Marion County woman is facing felony charges for threatening police officers and attempting to steal a vehicle at a business on East Grafton Road in Fairmont.
Jackie Fullmer, 37, of Fairmont, is accused of threatening police officers with both a hatchet and a knife at a Sunoco Gas Station on Stony Road.
Police were first alerted to Fullmer when she was accused of trying to steal a woman’s keys at knife point. Investigators found Fullmer had fled on foot from the scene on East Grafton Road, eventually leading to the confrontation at the gas station.
Fullmer is accused of charging at a uniformed police officer who was exiting his cruiser. The officer tased Fullmer and recovered both the knife and hatchet.
Once in custody, Fullmer told officers she planned to stab them in their necks and watch their blood drain as she drank it. She reportedly made additional threats during the trip to the Fairmont Police Department.
While at the station, police determined Fullmer had a knife concealed in between her butt cheeks. A deputy from the Marion County Sheriff’s Department discovered Fullmer had cut her seat belt in the cruiser, which she then reportedly told officers occurred before she had threatened to slit their throats.
Fullmer is charged with threats of terrorist acts and attempted robbery.
Threats of terrorist acts can carry a sentence of one to three years in prison and a fine of between $5,000 and $25,000. Attempted robbery can carry between 10 years and 20 years in prison.
