‘Sweet Spot with A.T.’ podcast: Episode 50 and the last of the Big 12 unbeatens

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — We’ve reached half-a-hundred, Episode 50, of “The Sweet Spot with A.T.” and our audience delivers a series of questions facing No. 6 West Virginia:

— Do the struggles on the offensive line concern you? Can teams drop more guys into coverage and still get to Grier?

— Who has been the biggest surprise on both sides of the ball?

— Cart-before-the-horse topic: What is the Big 12 three-way tiebreaker to determine which two teams make the championship game?

— Seeing that WVU is the only unbeaten Big 12 team left and therefore it’s best opportunity for the CFP, do we start getting a more favorable whistle?

— It’s a shame Lincoln Riley fired Mike Stoops before the WVU game! (OK, that last one was not a question, but a declaration of something that rattled the conference.)

Also we discuss the decommitment of four-star linebacker Lee Kpogba and await the basketball decision of a five-star center.
